Green teas

In recent years, consumption of green tea has risen steadily. Unlike black tea, green tea undergoes little or no processing. It generally dries naturally, which preserves most of its virtues. Green tea leaves are naturally rich in minerals, including fluorine, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium and phosphorus. It is also a source of many vitamins C, B1, B2, B3 and P. This is one of the reasons why Pascal Hamour® favours green tea from organic plantations for its recipes.

There are many varieties of green tea, the best known being Chinese green tea. Often combined with mint, it is produced in very large quantities. By contrast, Pascal Hamour® has chosen the precious organic green tea from the Darjeeling region of India. This tea is of excellent quality, with a woody taste and a powerful aroma. We have used this tea in a number of unique, gourmet recipes.
